Poet Angus Peter Campbell discusses his life, and his work, in a frank and open interview with Father Colin MacInnes.

Starting with Angus Peter's roots in South Uist, he charts his early success as a journalist at Grampian TV, through years battling alcohol addiction, to his acclaimed success as a novelist, actor and poet. Writing largely in his native Gaelic, his stories and poetry reflect the turbulent history of both his people and his own life.

Tha am bard Aonghas Pàdraig Caimbeul a' bruidhinn mu bheatha, agus mun obair aige, ann an còmhradh farsaing ri Maighstir Cailean MacAonghais.  A' tòiseachadh ann an Uibhist a Deas, do am buineadh Aonghas Pàdraig, tha e a' toirt iomradh air mar a shoirbhich leis mar neach-naidheachd aig Telebhisean Grampian, air na bliadhnachan duilich a bh' aige 's e a' fulang fo bhuaidh na dibhe agus an uairsin air mar a tha e air a bhith a' faighinn cliù mar sgrìobhaiche, cleasaiche agus mar bhàrd.An sgeulachd den sgrìobhadair Gàidhealach as fheàrr a tha ann an-diugh nach cuala duine riamh.
